@GT represented, in Romania
Salut from Romania,
I was blessed with an opportunity to become a part of the biggest national conference in Romania, called NPS (National Preparation Seminar) 2008 as a facilitator last week. It was truly a "living the dream" experience for me. We had such a great team of facilitators, and together we created unforgettable moments for our delegates and ourselves. I feel like if my capacity and ability as a facilitator is 1, I gave 2 to this conference, because my team, my new family, enabled me to do so. And I think the same goes to the other facilitators. That was the kind of team and experience we all had.
I am always grateful that I made a decision to join AIESEC Georgia Tech in the beginning of 2006. Back then, running faster on track or cross country field was what I was most interested in, and I was depressed because of serious knee injury. I joined AIESEC to "give something else a try" in order to fill in the time and to spend excess energy I had due to the lack of running in my life. Today, almost three years have passed, and I can say with confidence that everything happened in the way they should (I've been saying this for quite a while now). This is something I've had in my mind lately, so I thought I'd share it here.
Good luck with final exams for those of you who are taking classes at Tech, and I hope to see you all in St. Louis for OUR National Conference!
